About Our Clinic:
Carlisle Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is currently looking for a part-time leading to full-time manual physiotherapist to join our team. We are looking for the right candidate to assist with existing patient overflow and build a full time practice.
Over the last twenty years, our clinic has built a well-respected reputation within the Carlisle community and surrounding areas. We have established relationships with family practitioners, multi-practitioner medical clinics, sport medicine physicians and allied health care practitioners. Working within a multidisciplinary treatment model, we encourage collateral learning from other practitioners and hold in-clinic real patient mentoring that is based on evidence based practice research methods. Our practice provides quality, personalized services in the areas of injury prevention, treatment and improved performance in sport. A significant portion of our patients also consult for chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, concussions, pre-post-natal care among the usual orthopedic musculoskeletal conditions.
Our clinic provides physiotherapy, osteopathy, massage therapy, acupuncture and strength and conditioning with a focus on sport performance/prevention of injuries. We have private treatment rooms and a full service reception to handle scheduling, billing and provide administrative support. We offer the highest quality clinical mentorship, guidance for continuing education, remuneration commensurate with skills and experience and a rare opportunity to refine your manual palpation and manipulative skills. We have a well-established demand for physiotherapy based on 20 years of high quality service and relationship building with referrers. We offer one on one physiotherapy care, one hour assessments followed by 30 minute – one hour treatments if needed. Take your time with clients and foster their healing.
The ideal candidate:
You should have a passion for learning and focus on delivering structured patient appointments which exceed patient expectations. An interest in expanding your understanding of injuries, movement patterns and the complexities of the human body. You should be self-motivated, have the habit of educating your clients to be “their best therapist”. You understand that given the right tools, you can foster lasting relationships with patients. You possess a positive attitude, respect your colleagues and contribute to team efforts as needed.
New graduates are welcome to apply but prefer a minimum of 3 years full time practice in orthopedics with experience in sport injuries.
