Part / Full Time Physiotherapist

The clinical team continues to grow (again) at The Physiotherapy Edge! We are looking to add a motivated part or full time Orthopedic Physiotherapist to join our growing practice. We encourage new graduates to apply and compliment our over 100 years of combined clinical experience!
The Physiotherapy Edge is located in Grimsby, Ontario – midway between St. Catharines and Hamilton in beautiful Niagara. The clinic has been serving the West Niagara Region for over 25 years and is well established in both the medical and broader communities.
Our staff consist of 7 physiotherapists, a sports medicine physician, 2 clinical/administrative support staff and a kinesiologist. Our PTs have special interests in Manual Therapy, Pelvic Health, Concussion Recovery, and a Certified Decongestive Therapist working with the lymphedema & cancer populations. Four of our physios are FCAMPT certified to compliment these special clinical interests. We offer flexible hours, flexible compensation options and 95% of our clinic patient caseload are covered under their private health care plans. The remaining 5% are MVA or pay out of pocket. The Grimsby and surrounding communities continue to grow in population and as such, the need for our physiotherapy services continues to grow.
The clinic is an accredited teaching facility with the McMaster School of Rehabilitation Sciences (Physiotherapy) and have hosted over 100 physiotherapy students. We value the learning and mentoring process and encourage clinical mentoring and teaching within our practice.

Our successful candidate will require the following:
• Incredible interpersonal skills and a desire to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• A strong emphasis with patient education and a motivation to continue as a lifelong learner.
• The desire to work within a low stress, relaxed clinical environment with a clientele base that are highly motivated, active, and compliant with treatment plans.
• Registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists
• Orthopedic levels or working towards the successful completion of.
