This hands-on course focuses on developing the skills and confidence required to incorporate dry needling into your patient treatment programs. The course is divided into 2 modules, the first covering the lower quadrant (basic) and the second addressing the upper quadrant (advanced). The course is divided into two modules to allow students to learn the basic dry needling skills in the lower quadrant course and then advance their skills in the more technical upper quadrant.

Lead instructor Karyn Fereday has practiced dry needling in Canada, the US and Europe for 15 years. Has instructed over 80 courses over the past 7 years throughout North America.
Each module will have 24 hours of instruction over 3 days including lecture, small group demonstrations and guided practical sessions. The comprehensive curriculum addresses the many aspects of dry needling and provides the knowledge and skillset to competently transfer these skills to your practice. There will be ample time to work on practical skill development. As per college requirements there will be a summative evaluation including both practical and written examination.
This course provides 3 days of instruction,
combining formal lectures with hands-on
lab sessions. Friday 2-7, Saturday 8-6, Sunday 8-5. Muscle grouping include – posterior hip, quadriceps, hamstring & adductors, lower leg, advanced hip and lumbar spine.
All meals/refreshments provided.
Upper quadrant courses will be scheduled approximately 3 months after a lower quadrant course.
