Course description

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

Explain Differential Diagnosis and essential imaging of the painful pre-arthritic hip
Discuss current indications and results of osteotomies about the hip
Formulate a treatment algorithm for labral tears
Discuss the principles of hip arthroscopy
Explain techniques of labral repair as well as capsular management
Explain indications for new surgical approaches as well as their impact on rapid recovery programs
Explain investigation of the painful metal on metal total hip
Recognize the clinical indications for various implant designs for both primary and revision hip surgery.
